I chose to use Prezi to create my presentation of the different levels of the Internet. I found that Prezi is a fancy Power Point that is a little more difficult to use. I had to get used to all the shifting that Prezi does. It can definitely be used in the classroom, however creating the Prezi was a bit of a headache simply because I did not have much prior experience with it. I do like that my students would be able to access the Prezi anywhere they have internet capability. the presentation view I believe looks nice. I used a template from Prezi that was appropriate for this project and the presentation flows fairly well.

With this share link it takes the user right to my presentation which is extremely to get. There is a button on the website that creates the link and then the link can be shared with whomever you want.

Prezi was so much fun to use – that is what I chose to create my presentation as well! I did not have much experience with it prior to this assignment, but I do think that is it my new favorite tool for presentations within the classroom. I believe with all of the features that it has to offer it provides a greater opportunity for students to remain engaged within the lesson or activity. I really like that you pointed out that it could be accessed by the students outside of school – my only concern is what about the students that do not have that outside access? It would provide a great way for parents to get involved within the students education as well if there were to be a review or “notes” or activities posted into a Prezi for the students to do at home. It is a great tool, and might be my new go to!! Great presentation!

Let me begin by saying that I enjoyed your presentation! Prezi seems to be a much better choice than power point for being able to keep the attention of your audience. I feel like even though it was harder to work with in the beginning (probably due to power point being the only thing I’ve used since middle school), but that after using it a little more frequently, it will become easier. I also like the fact that you have access to it anywhere. In the past, I have had assignments that I had free time to work on, but I didn’t have the computer that I started it on with me. This means that I was not able to work on the assignment at that free time. Again good job on the presentation!
